Feeding Fishes by the Lake

On a cool lovely morning, with bread in hand we started off eagerly to the nearby lake to feed our fishes friends. Unfortunately, the fish population was depleted due to the fishing competition held a week ago and this was saved only by the presence of a few tortoises which lapped our bread gratefully. The children were happy enough to be able to feed 'something'. They also experimented on the various exercise equipments like the sit-ups, standup swings and twisters.

Moving onto the nearby playground which was very well equipped with the popular tunnel-slide, see-saws and swings. Set within the shade of the grand old raintree, the children laughed and played, very happy trying to outdo each other in the many games they spontaneously created then.

It was difficult prying them back to the centre and they relented only with the invitation to have ice cream at McDonalds. Very unlikely but Ronald was repairing the ice cream dispenser at that time and we had to leave empty handed. All's not lost though, as we detoured and bought our connetos and fruity-ices from our faithful grocery store. A treat indeed of having ice cream before lunch, well just this once.......!
