Baking for Tea

This is a session every child truly loves and - boys included! They were all excited enough just to bring an ingredient each - eggs, flour etc for our rock bun recipe. Their mums told  me they were up on that morning, way before time.
Every child was given a role each - from weighing ingredients, whisking eggs to shaping the buns and they were very happy getting their hands messy as well. The best moment was removing the hot crusty buns from the tray and waiting impatiently for them to cool down before tucking in. There were also buns preciously packed home for mummies and daddies to savour. Yummm.....!
