Our Objectives

We provide quality child care services to school going children. A unique programme is implemented incorporating Learning Through Play where various activities  such as below are introduced :-

a.     Safe, Discipline and Fun Ambience
We provide a safe and homely environment where every child will feel comfortable and look forward coming to. Our goal is to give working parents’ peace of mind when having to leave their children in Hobbes Children Centre.

Playing board games/table games like monopoly and carom are fun and provide chances to learn to follow rules and develop more complex thinking skills.

b.      Free Parents
We guide and ensure your children complete all their schoolwork in a timely manner. After a hard day’s work parents need not worry about going through their children’s schoolwork and hence can spend more quality time with them.

c.      Enhance Academic Success
A tutorial programme where the children practise on worksheets and workbooks. Tutors examine work done and guide the children through the assignments.

d.     Improve Language and Communication Skills
Language skills are polished in drama and make believe play. Reading and writing exercise together with the encouragement to use the library also greatly enhance their communication skills whilst instilling discipline and the reading habit.

e.  Free Their Imagination and Creative Minds
Art projects conducted in the centre are excellent for expanding a child’s creativity and imagination while exercising his fine motor skills. A finished product builds great child self-esteem. Children’s imagination comes alive during drama and make-believe play and at the same time, they also learn to concentrate, be attentive, empathise and use self control in these sequential play.

f.       Healthy Lifestyle
We have a sports programme where the children play games like badminton and football and it is here the children exercise, learn to cooperate and socialise with others. Outdoor play like going to the playground and feeding the fishes in the lake are also opportunities to refine a child’s motor skills, explore and manipulate a different environment. With child obesity on the rise due to the convenience of advanced technology and also the lack of space in urban living, our sports and outdoor programme is a good chance for them to express their energy while having lots of fun.

g.      Basic Living Skills
We also conduct activities like cooking and cleaning up which fosters a child’s sense of competence and independence when he can do it. These activities teaches a child to take and follow instructions while instilling self discipline and practising good habits.
